Procedure
Botox is administered with a fine needle directly into the muscle. Botox may be used in the areas surrounding the eyes, forehead, mouth and neck to treat crow’s feet, frown lines, worry lines, and lines on the neck. Botox works by weakening the muscles responsible for wrinkles and lines. Results tend to last four to six months.
Recovery and Final Result
Botox and injectable facial fillers are very safe and have little downtime. Bruising can occur but generally fades quickly. Patients are usually able to immediately return to work and other normal activities.
