Samantha: Office Manager/Practice Administrator
Although she is a native from West Virginia, it has not kept her from Loudoun County. Samantha has worked in Loudoun County since 1989. She has over twenty years of medical experience, with fifteen of those years working hand in hand with Dr. Cross (a general surgeon in the office). Sam is married and has three miniature Schnauzers. On her free time, she enjoys gardening, biking and hiking. She loves the outdoors! You can find Samantha at her desk working diligently to keep the office running smoothly for the doctors as well as the patients. She is always more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Lyndia: Billing/Insurance Specialist
Originally from South Carolina, Lyndia moved to Northern Virginia and resides in Purcellville with her daughter and two cats. She has lots of experience in the medical field and has been with the practice for five years. She enjoys watching movies, spending time with her daughter and shopping on her free time. Lyndia is the one who handles our billing and insurance. She is more than willing to help you in any way possible.
Sandy: Registered Nurse (RN)
Although she is originally from Delaware, she resides in Berryville, Virginia. Sandy got her nursing degree from a vocational school in the 1980’s and has since been working as an RN. She has over twenty five years of nursing experience. Sandy’s job consists of assisting the doctor with in office procedures and surgeries to handling patient phone calls and charts. She loves to interact with patients. On her free time, Sandy likes playing with her two dogs; a Schnauzer and a Mutt. Sandy is here to comfort and assist you with your medical problems along side with Dr. Mountcastle.
Michael: Surgery Scheduler
Originally from Northern California, Michael moved to Northern Virginia in 2006. He misses the warm weather but is getting acquainted with the Northern Virginia life style. Michael enjoys playing football, basketball and softball on his free time. He has two children, one boy (13) and one girl (15). He is a Certified Medical Assistant. He graduated from his CMA class in 2003. He has worked in many doctors office and has lots of experience. Michael is now working as our surgery scheduler. When a patient needs to schedule a surgery, he is the one that will be helping you find a date and time that fits into your schedule as well as the doctors to have your procedure done. Michael plans on pursuing a career in the medical field as a Radiology Technician near in the future.
Annie: Receptionist
Annie has lived in Virginia her whole life and is a native of Northern Virginia. She has worked in many medical offices during her career and knows the “ins” and “outs” in this profession and the Loudoun Medical Community. Annie is the one who checks you in our out during your visit or retrieves your phone calls. She enjoys helping patients with having a smooth experience while at our practice. If she is not in the office, she enjoys singing in the choir, reading and doing arts and crafts.
Maxine: Receptionist
She has lived in Loudoun County for the past twenty five years and six of those years working in the medical field. Maxine is the one to transfer your call, check you in or out, or answer any questions you may have in regards to scheduling an appointment. If she’s not in the office, you can expect to find her gardening, shopping for antiques or simply relaxing with her cats.
