67 year old male presented to our office with biopsy proven Melanoma in-situ on the scalp. Patient was referred to our office for excision of the skin cancer. Dr. Mountcastle was successfully able to remove the Melanoma with one excision under local anesthesia at our office without having to shave any hair! This procedure is done the same day of the consultation if desired by the patient. We recommend using silicone base scar cream and sunscreen twice a day for 3 months for the best long-term results.
