Procedure Details

28 year old patient came to Dr. Mountcastle with a bump on her finger that was not healing, it would bleed, swell and be painful. Dr. Mountcastle said it was a pyogenic granuloma which is a type of skin growth. Dr. Mountcastle treated the area with silver nitrate hoping that would fix the issue but it only shrunk the growth a small amount. The patient came back and Dr. Mountcastle excised the growth and her finger is healing nicely. Patient is extremely happy that her finger is getting back to normal.
