This patient presented a slow growing scalp cyst. Called a sebaceous cyst, it grows from an overactive hair follicle's sebaceous gland. This lesion was excised in the office under local and stitches were removed two weeks later. The skin retracted after the removal of the lesion despite no skin being removed during the procedure itself. The post op picture is two weeks after excision of the scalp cyst.More
