Basal Cell Carcinoma*

Procedure Details

52 year old women came to Dr. Mountcastle for a consultation to close her mohs surgery that would be done by Dr. Redbord. Mohs surgery is a deeper excision and the doctor can tell during the surgery if they got all of the skin cancer or if they need to go deeper. Dr. Redbord prefers to have Dr. Mountcastle do the closure since he is the expert at stitching and leaving as small of a scar as possible. Pictures are taken about 3 weeks apart and the wound should improve over time. Patient is very happy to be cancer free and have minimal scaring.
