Patient presented to our office with undesirable excess skin in her arms after major weight loss. The patient was experiencing discomfort, heaviness, and a rash. After consulting with Dr. Mountcastle it was determined the patient was a good candidate for a Brachioplasty (arm lift). These results are after 3 months post operation, the patient was overall happy with results. Scarring extends from axilla (armpit) to elbow, it is recommended to use a silicone base scar cream such as Bicorneum twice a day for 3 months and avoid sun exposure for 1 year for best results.
