Pyogenic granuloma*

Procedure Details

30-year-old patient was referred to Dr. Mountcastle by Dr. Le. The patient had a pyogenic granuloma (common skin growths) and wanted to Dr. Mountcastle to remove it. Dr. Mountcastle told the patient that cutting it would be the best option in order to get it all out and have less of a chance of it coming back in the future. The picture was taken the day of the suture removal (4 days post op). The mouth heals very quickly and she can expect the scar to be less noticeable in just a few more days to a week. The patient was very happy and thankful that Dr. Mountcastle was able to remove the growth.
