21 year old patient came to Dr. Mountcasatle's office with a bothersome spot on her big toe. Dr. Mountcastle said it was a pyogenic granuloma and the best treatment would be to excise the lesion and follow up with silver nitrate to make sure all the tissue is removed. Patient feels much better and over time the discoloration of the nail will go away.
