64 year old female presented to our office status post Mohs Surgery for basal cell carcinoma. Patients are recommended to have closure within 48 hours of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Mountcastle determined the nose did not require a surgical closure, instead proper wound care with daily xeroform dressings and bi-weekly wound checks in office. The patient was very happy to use a conservative method and had minimal scaring.
